About The Course

Mental Health is a serious subject. One in four people says that they have experienced mental ill-health and evidence suggests that poor mental health is responsible for almost 16% of all sickness absence days in the UK. 


This is likely to rise significantly in the coming months with more social and personal restrictions being implemented due to the current pandemic. It has never been more critical to ensure your business has the right tools to support your employees through a really difficult time. 

  

One of the biggest challenges with poor mental health is removing the stigma that surrounds it. Many don't hesitate to seek help for physical pain or problem, yet so many of us ignore emotional and mental health issues - or we feel too embarrassed, confused, or scared to talk about them. 


Our tailored training discusses mental health in a simple yet effective way and it encourages you to take care of yourself as you would a loved one.

The course raises awareness and offers different ways to approach the subject, identify key trigger points, and more importantly how to remove the stigma whilst providing tips, and ideas for day-to-day wellbeing-management (for yourself and others).
